When is the best time to visit Uganda?
Uganda is a year-round destination, with excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year. The drier seasons are generally preferred for trekking and game viewing.
How challenging is gorilla trekking?
The trek can vary in duration and terrain, but experienced park rangers, walking sticks and porter assistance are available to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Do we need to be experienced hikers?
No. Gorilla trekking varies in difficulty depending on the location of the gorilla family, and experienced rangers guide you throughout the trek. Porters are also available to assist if needed.
Can porter assistance be arranged for gorilla trekking?
Yes. Experienced porters are available during gorilla and chimpanzee trekking and are highly recommended.
