Day by day
Day 1
Depart Kampala or Entebbe and travel through Uganda's beautiful countryside towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, vibrant trading centres and rural communities before arriving at your lodge, where you'll relax amidst the tranquil surroundings of the rainforest.
Day 2
After an early breakfast, attend a ranger briefing before setting off into Bwindi Forest in search of a mountain gorilla family.
The trek may vary in length depending on the gorillas' location, but the reward is extraordinary—spending one unforgettable hour observing these remarkable primates in their natural habitat.
Return to your lodge for a well-earned rest before choosing to relax or enjoy an optional cultural visit to the nearby Batwa community.
Day 3
After breakfast, continue through the scenic highlands of western Uganda to Kibale National Park.
Pass rolling tea plantations, crater lakes and picturesque villages before arriving at your lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to join an optional evening forest walk for a chance to spot bush babies and other nocturnal wildlife.
Day 4
Begin the day with an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest.
Accompanied by experienced park guides, search for habituated chimpanzee communities while discovering the remarkable biodiversity of this ancient rainforest.
After lunch, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, bringing your unforgettable Ugandan primate adventure to a memorable close.
